Come Join us for our 1st Wine Dinner featuring J Lohr Estate Wines.

Welcome to our first of many wine dinners, Featuring J Lohr Estate Wines. Like us they have been a family owned business for over 50 years. They pioneered wine making in Monterey and Paso Robles. They have a Green Medal Award from the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance.

Five Course dinner where we pair exquisite dishes with exceptional wines to create a memorable culinary experience.

First Course

Salmon Mousse Canapes- Salmon Mousse served on top of English cucumber

Arroyo Vista Chardonnay, which exhibits intriguing aromas of paper whites, Meyer Lemon, apple, pear and creme brûlée.

Second Course

Brie Mushroom Pastries- phyllo dough pastry cup filled with baby portobello mushroom, pancetta, garlic, shallots and brie cheese.

Fog’s Reach Pinot Noir-Arroyo Seco region with blue sage and strawberry compote notes. Bright flavors of red cherry envelope the palate and leave supple cardamom and spice on the lengthy finish.

Third Course

Organic D’Anjou Pear & Little Gem-toasted hazelnuts, pomegranate arils & lemon vinaigrette topped with gorgonzola.

October Night- displays exotic floral aromas of gardenia, Meyer lemon, ripe apple and baking spices.

Intermezzo

Lemon Sorbet- Cleanse the palette

Fourth Course-Choice of Entree

Braised Short Ribs with Carrot Puree and Spring Vegetables- English peas, fava beans, and pearl onions.

Spring Vegetable Orzo- with new potatoes, broad beans, peas, artichokes & ricotta

Cuvee Pau- Blend comes from the Grand Cru wines of the Pauillac district of Bordeaux, 67% Cabernet, 27% Cab Franc, 5% Merlot and 1% Petite Verdot. Black fruit and cassis notes.

Fifth Course

Tropical Coconut Pound Cake- served with lemon curd Chantilly cream and garnished with fruit.

Bay Mist Reisling- Exotic aromas of honeysuckle, ripe pear, Meyer lemon, and lychee.

Wines will be available for purchase at a reduced price at the end of the event.

$50 dollar non-refundable reservation fee per person which will be applied as a credit to the $150 purchase price per person. A 20% gratuity will be added to your final bill. The bar will be open for other libations if wine is not your vibe.

Reservations can be made by sending an email to fatladyspecialevents@gmail.com. Include your phone number and number of guests and a host will call to confirm your reservation and take a deposit. Call the restaurant during service hours to put your name on the list and we will contact you to secure the deposit.
